Faculty

The members of the faculty were originally students of Noreen’s and continue the good techniques and skills needed for teaching dance. They attend workshops with nationally renowned instructors and our certified by examination through Dance Masters of America. Our faculty truly cares about your child learning and enjoying dance!


Noreen Rhode - Owner/Director
Noreen Rhode – Owner/Director
Miss Noreen, has owned and directed the Noreen Londregan School of Dance in Mayfield Village for over 40 years. . She is serving on the board of Dance Masters of Ohio and currently is the Area II Vice President of Dance Masters of America. Continuing education is an important factor in the instruction of her students. She recently returned from a 2 week convention in NYC where she attended dance classes and seminars learning the newest of teaching techniques. She feels it is very important to keep abreast of the current trends and techniques in the dance world.

Her memberships in Dance Masters of America and the Cecchetti Council of America began in the early 1960’s. The Cecchetti Method offers a balanced analyzed system for the planned development of a student in ballet. Noreen is proud of her students who have placed high in Cecchetti exams and have been awarded many trophies at dance competitions. Her former students have performed on cruise ships, national tours and theme parks. She is delighted to have children of former dance students begin their early training at the Noreen Londregan School of Dance.



Colleen Rhode 
– Associate Director
Colleen Rhode, the Associate Director, is the daughter of Noreen and has been dancing since age. 3. She has a BA degree from Cleveland State University. Her experience includes performing as a Cheerleader with the Cavalier Basketball Team, dancing in “Stompin At The State” and traveling with road companies. Colleen has served as an adjudicator for several dance competitions. She has trained with such noted teachers as Frank Hatchett, Gus Giordano & Dee Hillier. Her jazz & tap dancers have been awarded many overall awards. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors for Dance Masters of Ohio.


Tammy DeThomas
Tammy DeThomas

Tammy’s association with Noreen goes back to her very first dance lesson. She took lessons from the age of four & is certified through the Teachers Training School and is a member of Dance Masters of Ohio. Seeking more challenge, Tammy pursued a career in Ballroom dancing, eventually climbing to a national ranking in both rhythm & theatre arts divisions. Tammy still teaches ballroom dancing & enjoys her work with children.



Kayleigh Becker
Miss Kayleigh is a NLSD Alumnus and graduate of the University of North Carolina – Charlotte graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with an Education concentration. While at UNCC, Kayleigh presented works at the American Collegiate Dance Association Southeast Conference and the North Carolina Dance Educators Annual Conference. She was a two-time recipient of the Dance Department annual scholarship that recognized her for academic and creative achievement in dance and education. Kayleigh has worked professionally in the Charlotte and Cleveland metropolitan areas as a dance instructor, stage manager and other backstage assignments. Since moving back to Cleveland, she has obtained her Acrobatic Arts Certification for Module 1 and became a Youth Protection Advocates in Dance Certified Educator. Miss Kayleigh loves coming in each Saturday to work contemporary and lyrical techniques as well as choreographing for the NLSD Competitive Team.



Haley Jacobson

Haley Jacobson is a recent graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. While at Ohio Wesleyan, Haley was able to attend, perform, and choreograph at the American College Dance Association (ACDA) conference at Western Michigan University and Kent State University. In addition to her dance courses, Haley also performed in every ‘Orchesis’ and ‘Terpsicorps’ showcase as well as choreographed four times. Haley began her dance training at Noreen Londregan School of Dance where she was trained for 15 years in many styles of dance including: ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, the Cecchetti method, and lyrical. Haley was also a member of the competition team while at Noreen’s. She is so excited to be back with her dance family, and can’t wait to create, learn, and dance during this 2018-2019 season.



Heather Muzic
Heather started her dance career at Angela’s dance studio. From there she went on to study dance performance and education at The University of Akron under the tutelage of Marc Ozanich, Tom Smith, Inna Stabrova, Lana and Andy Carroll and Jerry Burr. While there she performed with Akron’s Repertory Dance Company and attended and performed at The American College Dance Festival. Heather has also attended classes at Steps, Broadway Dance Center, Jennifer Muller Company, The Geoffrey School and Ohio Dance Theatre. For the last ten years Heather has been teaching at various studios throughout Northeast Ohio including Studio 82, Solon Center for The Arts, and Rising Star. She also does after school movement programs for Solon as well as Fairfax Elementary in Cleveland Heights.



JAY J GRAHAM
As one of Midwest’s top Hip Hop choreographers, Jay J is known for his innovative style.  His talent and dedication has earned him a scholarship award to “Monsters of Hip Hop” in Chicago as well as being a three year running scholarship winner to Urban Jamm in LA.  He has taught master and scholarship classes for Ohio Dance Masters and the Ohio Cecchetti Council.  He started his dance training  in ballet, jazz, modern and tap.  He continued his education with dance artists such as Shane Sparks, Napolean and Tabathy Dumo, Savion Glover and Dave Scott – all of whom are currently working in the dance industry at this time.  One of Jay J’s highest attributes is his ability to work with children and adults of all ages from the beginner thru the most advanced.  His classes are known for its’ high energy, but still maintain a technical base and a structured curriculum.  is stles can vary from street tap, funk jHis styles can vary from street tap, funk jazz and hip hop – all popular and current in today’s dance culture, media, music video and television.



NICOLE CROWL

Miss Nicole graduated Kent State University with a BFA in Dance Performance. She has studied abroad in Bangkok, Thailand as Vice president of the student organization, East Meets West, and in Ontario, Canada at the School of Toronto Dance Theatre on a dance scholarship. Nicole also trained with DIAVOLO Architecture in Motion on scholarship in Los Angeles, California. Alongside her studies, she served as the President of the Student Dance Education Organization-Kent State Chapter, under the umbrella of the National Dance Education Organization. Nicole has performed at the John F. Kennedy Center For the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. and in Philadelphia, PA for the Women in Dance Leadership Conference. While pursuing her career in New York City, Nicole became a lead instructor and Assistant Director of Pixie Pods, a mobile enrichment studio that provides dance music, and acrobatic education. Nicole trained at Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, and Gibney. She also worked with Will Gill, Ronald K. Brown, Ray Mercer, Yoshito Sakuraba, and jess pretty. Nicole is Acrobatic Arts Certified and has studied and taught various styles, including jazz, modern, ballet, contemporary, and tap.
